OH, HI

My name is Jacqueline - I am a writer, filmmaker, and visual storyteller based in Chicago, IL.

Once upon a time, some twenty-something years ago... I crawled out of a glittering swamp in South Louisiana, hungry to tell stories and entertain anyone who crossed my path.

was a big year. Like many of my fellow Gen Y'ers, I made some bold quarantine moves—most significantly, packing up and heading to the windy city for grad school (I did not, however, get bangs and/or make bread).
At Loyola University Chicago, I deepened my creative roots, digging into the world of broadcast news and TV entertainment.
Along the way, I met inspiring mentors and forged lasting friendships in the film industry, forever changing the course of my creative journey.
Since then, I have been fortunate enough to turn my passion for storytelling into a career, with experience spanning newsroom writing, film production, marketing, and advertising.

As a self-proclaimed Jane of all Trades, my recipe for a solid story is my natural tendency toward people and curiosity to learn their life stories.
I recognize the power of vulnerability and emotion, and its ability to shape the best narratives.
I prefer to stay busy and I'm always looking for my next project.
